About Daily Quests

Daily Quests is a free collection of short puzzle games that refresh every day. Everyone gets the same puzzles on the same day, so you can compare results with friends, family or coworkers. Each game takes a few minutes, works on phones and computers, and can be played in English or Portuguese.

The games

Words

Six hidden words a day, one of each length from 3 to 8 letters. After each guess the tiles show which letters are in the right spot, which are in the word somewhere else, and which aren't in it at all. One of the six is the themed word: it comes with a hint about the day's theme, but you get fewer tries.

Hive

Seven letters in a honeycomb, one of them in the center. Make as many words of four letters or more as you can, always using the center letter; letters can repeat. Longer words are worth more, a word with all seven letters earns a bonus, and you climb the ranks from Egg to Queen as your score grows.

Numbers

Reach a target number by combining six numbers with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Each number can be used once, and every step has to give a positive whole number. Three puzzles a day, easy, medium and hard, with no timer.

In Order

Five cards and one rule: put them in order by year, size, speed or another measure. You get a single try per round, and each card in its right place is a point. Three rounds a day, up to 15 points, and you see how your score compares with everyone who played.

How a day works

New puzzles arrive every day at midnight UTC (9 pm in Brasília), at the same moment for everyone. A game you started before midnight can still be finished. Every puzzle is prepared ahead of time and checked, and the word games have their own words in English and in Portuguese.

Your progress and results

You don't need an account: your game is saved in your browser. If you want, you can sign in with Google to keep your stats and streaks on any device.

When you finish, you see how everyone did on the same puzzle, and you can share your result as a grid of colored squares that doesn't give the answers away.
